Icarus 2081 is a FIRST Robotics Team from Peoria Notre Dame High School, based out of Peoria, Illinois. A few of the team's past achievements include winning the 2012 Boilermaker Regional, the 2013 Engineering Inspiration Award at the Crossroads Regional, and the 2014 Engineering Inspiration Award at the Wisconsin Regional. When not competing, team Icarus is researching and developing socially assistive robots (SARs). With the help of the nurses and therapists of Easter Seals, the team has been part of groundbreaking research using SARs with children who have autism. Keep up with 2081 during the 2016 build season!
